Bonnie Benesh
Bonnie Benesh is CEO of the Think To DO Institute, a global independent think tank located on Curacao. In her international career she has presented and worked extensively around the world as a "change agent", "thought leader" and "connector" with public and private sector entities to develop leadership for a new kind of future using her expertise in human and organizational systems. Her passion is the development of human capacity through systemic reform and collaborative vision. She has extensive experience in international economic development processes, 21st century workforce development skills and planning processes, and resilient society development. As a change agent and connector, Benesh has facilitated the creation of policy and procedures for labor force development plans, government and stakeholder dialogue structures, and creating global citizens with competitive workforce skills. She has extensive experience facilitating tripartite social dialogue groups in developing nations to bring together social partners to form a common vision, powerful structures and meaningful actions needed to create a resilient people and society in the age of disruption. She has participated in several global think tanks, including the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, Apple Computer Think Tank, and several related to education and labor development in Singapore before becoming CEO of the Think To DO Institute. As thought leader, she is a member of the World Economic Forum Expert Group on Agile Governance, Climate Reality Leadership Corps, Think Tanks in Civil Society Program, and the Society for Organizational Learning, and has been a contributor to the Institute for Futures Studies. She has served as guest or adjunct professor at numerous universities around the world. She has been listed in Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in International Business Leaders and Professionals. Benesh has authored learning materials on Constructivism, The Brain and Learning, and The Human Brain, The Brain and Learning: Reading; The Brain and Learning: Mathematics; The Brain and Learning: Early Childhood.

Leendert J.J. Pengel
Leendert Pengel is een alumnus van de UoC uit 1986, die daarna aan de TUe in 1992 is afgestudeerd in afstudeerrichting Informatietechniek, 6 jaar heeft gewerkt bij een lokaal ICT-bedrijf, en daarna bij de UoC is gestart als manager van de ICT-afdeling. Sinds augustus 2016 is hij manager van het Center for Digital Learning op de UoC. Zijn belangstelling is altijd uit gegaan naar het onderwijs en het overdragen van kennis. Hij heeft aan het begin gestaan van de ontwikkelingen van het aanbieden van onderwijs op afstand door de UoC, eerst door inzet van Skype, daarna met de professioneler inzet van Blackboard Collaborate, waardoor studenten op Aruba, Bonaire en Sint Maarten vanuit Curaçao van onderwijs voorzien konden worden. De vele ontwikkelingen op het gebied van onderwijs ondersteund met technologie en in het bijzonder met ICT, en de behoefte aan deze kennis bij vele docenten en leerkrachten, zijn zijn “drive” geweest om de overstap te maken van ICT naar een meer onderwijsgerelateerde functie binnen de nieuw opgezette afdeling Center for Digital Learning. In november 2020 is hij de door Blackboard Academy en UNESCO georganiseerde Blende Learning and Online Strategies (K12 GEC) met succes afgerond en daarna gecertificeerd Accredited Facilitator for the course K12 Blended Learning and Online Strategies (UNESCO/CCEP/BBAcademy).

Voor Kennisnet.nl gedurende >10 jaar hoofdredacteur van de ICT-nieuwsbrieven Primair en Voortgezet Onderwijs. Projecten: Internetwoordenboek.nl - SMS-taal.nl - GrassrootsCuracao.com. Initiatiefnemer BoekTweePuntNul.nl (co-creatie en crowdsource-publicatie). Winnaar van SIDN Award 2011 - categorie De Kracht van Netwerken. Jurylid voor de projecten InnovativeTeachers Awards (Microsoft), Cos Awards en de Gouden Duim.Sinds 7 jaar voorzitter IPONAwards.nl. Founding Father en realisator van de Reisgids Digitaal Leermateriaal. Schooljaar 2017-2018 realisatie ICT-lerarenagenda Suriname voor het gehele Basis én Voortgezet onderwijs in Suriname.Inmiddels > 40 jaar bezield onderwijsman (en passie voor Curaçao).
