Mini Conferences
By organizing mini conferences, we offer participants the opportunity to gain experience during short but concise sessions. Particularly in the field of the technology used to develop knowledge and skills within our community. The 21st Century Skills play an increasingly important role in society in the development of citizens.
The mini conferences are organized separately and based on subjects from the annual Education with Technology Conference UoC in October.
Mini Conference March 20, 2020
Topics included in the mini-conference are directly related to the feedback we received from our visitors during the evaluation of the major Education with Technology UoC 2019 conference.
The topics that will be highlighted this time during the Mini conference are:

- Making introduction video for your online lessons, Mediaschool Curaçao
- Make your own summative test online, Ted Hovelman
- STE (A) M education in practice, Tinkersjop
- Virtual Reality Systems for Education, Stargue.com
- Pilot Digital soft-skills student tracking system and Portfolio, Threeships
Mini Conference March 29th 2019
Topic: Digital Pedagogy (Digitale Didactiek)
Date: March 29th, 2019
Time: from 15:00-19:00h
Location: Q-building
Cost: ANG 25.00 (including OB, snack, thee and coffee)
We will have sessions on the theoretical background including the TPaCK model, but we will also have the important hands-on sessions. The conference will start with the sharing of his 40 years of experience and knowledge in Education and use of technology of Jan van Veen from The Netherlands and an exchange of some achievements by participants after the last conference.
