Spreker: Marcus Nicolaas
Lokaal: Q1.04/5 (Ruviangelo/Elisabeth)
As a Doctoral student, one must gain experience in research rigor, data collection and analysis. After the first year of the Pandemic, Mr. Nicolaas decided to embarked on an Independent Research titled “The Impact of Remote Learning on Instruction and Learning” to become more versed in doctoral research.
This was an intriguing and interesting experience with some results that the author believes they are valid and current to share since a next Pandemic or (Natural) disaster is always looming. This research was based on a Qualitative Phenomenological Research with Open ended Interview Questions as instrument, in order to understand any (new) aspects of this new phenomenon.
The following are being shared and debated with the participants:
- The Results of the Study,
- The Conclusions drawn with possible solutions,
- How 21st Century Pedagogy might help in mitigating (some) negative impacts and,
- Sound discussions on lived experiences of the participants.
