Bonnie Benesh is an organizational change consultant who has worked extensively around the world as a "change agent", "thought leader" and "connector" to develop leadership for a new kind of future using her expertise in human and organizational systems. Her passion is the development of human capacity through systemic reform and collaborative vision. She has extensive experience in international economic development processes, 21st century workforce development skills and processes, and resilient society development. 

Around since the 1980’s, the research on their use shows that learners (both adult and youth) find great value in the self-evaluation component of the Individualized Learning Plan approach.  The plans (ILP) structure the learning of anything new around the learner’s interests, personal and academic goals, and helps connect the learner’s understanding of the relationship between the courses they choose and their specific individual goals. The research shows that learners guided by the ILP are more focused and could stay engaged to learn in a blended approach.  Now that digital learning environments are becoming more available, this customized learning approach can help structure, connect, and provide tracking for individual learning modules that benefit the learner and the teachers who are tracking student results, no matter the age of the learner.

The session will focus on how to create individualized learning plans that are flexible, dynamic and focused on learner future outcomes, that are easily adjusted to student age and are holistic and relevant to the individual’s education and background.
