Education with Technology Conference
The University of Curaçao Dr. Moises da Costa Gomez (UoC) has set up a Center for Digital Learning (CDL) department as part of further innovations in education at the UoC. The CDL aims to further work UoC-wide on the application of technology (in particular ICT) in the educational processes of all faculties, and to integrate this within all programs offered by the UoC. All this to be able to offer education within all faculties in a more flexible and attractive way to its students in particular, but also to the Curaçao community in general. We as the UoC also want to contribute to educational innovations at a national level and to make a concrete contribution to this. This conference is only the beginning of a series of conferences that will be organized by the UoC through its Center for Digital Learning, on a structural basis, in which more depth will be given on the various topics.
By making more use of technology in educational activities, it will also be possible to offer distance learning in the form of blended learning and other forms of e-Learning, in addition to existing on-site education, and ultimately, where applicable, also full online education. . Technology offers many possibilities to reach a larger audience and we want to use this together with partners within the local educational activities and processes.

The University of Curaçao, with its Center for Digital Learning department, strives to be a leader and knowledge center in the field of education with the application of technology and in that context organizes an annual large "Education with Technology" conference in the last weekend of October. In addition to the plenary session, the conferences provide a large number of different parallel sessions with highly relevant topics in the form of workshops, hands-on and presentations.

In addition to the plenary session, the conferences provide a large number of different parallel sessions with highly relevant topics in the form of workshops, hands-on and presentations.
Topics identified as most important or relevant at this conference will receive separate attention in the mini-conference in March of the following year.
A wide variety of equipment is used, such as interactive IWBs, computers, tablets and other audiovisual equipment. And of course we warmly welcome you to bring your own laptop, tablet and other handheld connected devices, so that you can actively participate in the workshops and hands-on sessions. Various technology solution providers will be present. They deploy their equipment during the sessions or are present with a booth to present information from their relevant services in the field of technology education.
In addition to the workshops, there will also be other opportunities for networking and getting to know organizations. They show their relevant products and / or services in booths on the patio and at presentations on the second day of the conference. We also offer the possibility that participants exchange experiences informally and perhaps find new cooperation impulses.
